Asian Spiced Meatloaf

Asian spices baked into a meatloaf, topped with a glaze made from HEINZ Tomato Ketchup, teriyaki sauce and Gochujang paste.

2 lb. Ground beef
2 cup Dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. Soy sauce
5 tbsp. Gochujang paste (Korean red pepper paste)
2 tsp. Garlic, chopped
2 tsp. Ground ginger
1/2 tsp. Black pepper
1 each Egg
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Teriyaki sauce
Preparation Steps

  • Preheat
    Oven to 350 F.
  • Combine
    The ground beef, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup HEINZ Tomato Ketchup, soy sauce, 2 Tbsp. gochujang paste, garlic, ginger, pepper, egg and milk in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix
    Thoroughly and then shape into a loaf onto a sided baking pan.
  • Bake
    For about 45 minutes.
  • Mix
    1 cup HEINZ Tomato Ketchup, 3 Tbsp. gochujang paste and the teriyaki sauce for the glaze while the meatloaf is baking.
  • Pour
    Or brush the glaze over top the meatloaf after the first 45 minutes of cooking.
  • Return
    The meatloaf to the oven and continue cooking for an additional 20 minutes.
