Ingredients

12 each Bone-in pork chop, 8-10 oz. each
1 tsp. Vegetable oil, to taste
1 pinch Sea salt, to taste
1 pinch Ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup GREY POUPON Country Dijon Mustard
1/2 cup Honey
8 oz. Unsalted butter
1/3 cup Brown sugar, dark
4 tsp. Ground red pepper (cayenne)
2/3 cup Pecans, toasted and chopped
3 tbsp. Green onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

Preparation Steps
  • Make
The Carolina mustard glaze by whisking together the honey, butter, brown sugar, cayenne, GREY POUPON Country Mustard and GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard in a sauce pot.
  • Simmer
Over medium heat until thickened, about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • Pre-heat
A grill to medium-high heat and brush the grill grates clean.
  • Rub
The pork chops all over with the vegetable oil so they are well coated.
  • Season
The pork chops with the salt and pepper and grill on one side for 3 minutes, then turning ¼ turn after 2 minutes to make nice cross hatch grill marks.
  • Flip
The pork chop over and brush generously with the Carolina mustard glaze.
  • Continue
Cooking the pork until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes more.
  • Place
The pork chops on a plate with some roasted vegetables and glaze one more time with the Carolina mustard glaze.
  • Sprinkle
Each pork chop with 1 tsp toasted pecans and green onions and serve hot.
