brown sugar, firmly packed 12 oz. 1-3/4 cups
chili powder - 3/4 cup
butter, melted (optional) 12 oz. 1-1/2 cups
ground red pepper (cayenne) - 1 Tbsp.

brown sugar, firmly packed - 2 Tbsp.
chili powder - 1 Tbsp.
butter, melted (optional) - 1 Tbsp.
ground red pepper (cayenne) - 1/4 tsp.

Directions

Mix all ingredients in saucepan; bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator until ready to use.
