pork butts, cooked, pulled 7.5 lb.
slider buns, split 72 each
root beer 8 fl oz 1 cup
cracked black pepper 1 Tbsp.
OPEN PIT Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce 20 fl oz 2 cups
pork butts, cooked, pulled 1 lb.
slider buns, split 18 each

Directions

Cook root beer and pepper in large saucepan on medium heat until reduced to 1/2 cup (or reduced to 2 Tbsp. for trial recipe). Stir in barbecue sauce; simmer 5 min., stirring occasionally.

Add meat; cook until heated through, stirring frequently.

For each serving: Fill each of 3 buns with 2.75 oz. pork.
