Pulse Brewing

We recommend pulse brewing your GEVALIA coffee to ensure patrons receive the best-tasting beverage.

Serving Equipment

Ideally, you should brew directly into an airpot or thermal container. Generally an airpot or thermal server can keep coffee hot for up to 90 minutes. If you warm your coffee on a burner, the flavor and aroma will begin to deteriorate after 30 minutes.

How a Coffee's Grind Affects Brewing

GEVALIA comes in a fine grind, which helps give the coffee its full-bodied taste. Up to a point, the finer you grind the coffee, the more surface area is exposed to the hot water, providing a higher level of extracted coffee flavor. In other words, a fine grind offers more body and flavor in a cup of coffee.
